Calvary RR Cricket W/ Hobble

One of the oldest bit shank designs we offer. It is the longest swivel shank we offer.  I tried to put my spin on it.  I maneuvered the weight around the mouthpiece, for some reason horses understand it better.  I've designed this shank to hang straight like a solid bit with the forgiveness of a loose shank.  We suggest it for a broke horse.

This mouthpiece is a 1/2" oval bar that rotates down to a 3/8" bar.  Has a shorter transition between the port and the bar which allows for less tongue relief, but has more pressure on the edge of their tongue. It is not tall enough to make contact with the roof of their mouth. We suggest this for broke horses.  Offers a cricket for anxiety relief.
