Texas Brazos Cricket W/ Hobble

A bit design that came out of ranch country in North West Texas. A favorite of cowboys that moved over to the performance horse industry. I've taken an old design and in my opinion made improvements on it. I've moved all the weight around the mouthpiece, which helps the horse understand it better, and have added a horizontal ring that improves lateral pull. We suggest this bit for broke horses.

Looks can be deceiving, while this mouthpiece looks aggressive and could be if used improperly.  It's actually quite comfortable. It features a large spoon on top that's contoured to fit the roof of their mouth. The bars are 1/2", the port to bar transition is extreme. Obviously it will work best on a trained horse. This is a mouthpiece not to be afraid of because your horse won't be.
