Texas RR

A bit design that came out of ranch country in North West Texas. A favorite of cowboys that moved over to the performance horse industry. I've taken an old design and in my opinion made improvements on it. I've moved all the weight around the mouthpiece, which helps the horse understand it better, and have added a horizontal ring that improves lateral pull. We suggest this bit for broke horses.

This mouthpiece is a 1/2" oval bar that rotates down to a 3/8" bar. Has a shorter transition between the port and the bar which allows for less tongue relief but has more pressure on the edge of their tongues. It is not tall enough to make contact with the roof of their mouth.  We suggest this for broke horses.
