Texas Pecos Cricket

A bit design that came out of ranch country in North West Texas .  A favorite of cowboys that moved over to the performance horse industry.  I've taken an old design and in my opinion, made improvements on it.  I've moved all the weight around the mouthpiece , which helps the horse understand it better, and have added a horizontal ring that improves lateral pull.  We suggest this bit for broke horses

This mouthpiece has a tall port with lots of tongue relief. It has a 1/2" bar and has a long transition from the port to the bar.  A little aggressive on the top side but, has been proven a winner in the Reining and Cutting horse industry over and over again.  If you're looking for an edge to show your Reiner or Cutter, this could be it.  Offers a cricket for anxiety relief.
